Students explore why character is essential to good improv, and how to bring new, full-color personalities to life through improvisation. You'll discover how character work and relationships go hand-in-hand to create memorable, honest, and entertaining scenes.

  • Prerequisite: i.e. One: Introduction to Improv. To inquire about transferable prior training email [email protected].
  • Please note: To move on to the next level of our Improv Essentials course, students must attend at least 5 of their 7 classes.
  • Our classes are non-refundable. Please ensure that you're able to attend class on the given weeks prior to registering.

Josh (he/him) is a graduate of the training programs at Finest City Improv, National Comedy Theatre and the Magnet Theater (NYC).  He is known for his energetic and supportive play.  His classes are focused on creating a fun, and safe space where all of his students get the repetitions and support they need.
