Workshop: Beat Sketch Process with Best Of Annoyance Sketch Co-Producer, Simon Tessmer
About the Course:
For over four years Best of Annoyance Sketch has put up high-quality weekly sketch shows, always featuring brand new material. How do we do it? We've developed a robust system of casting, pitching, improvising, and working with stage managers where we get to have fun, be friends, and do good work all at the same time. At the BOAS Workshop, Co-Producer Simon Tessmer, will lead you through a condensed version of that process. Come prepared with sketch premises, and over the course of the workshop, Simon will walk you through every step of the BOAS method. By the end of the workshop you'll have a full beat-sketch improv show up on its feet (and hopefully some new friends along the way)! Bring a snack and a water bottle because we'll be using every minute of class time we have. Workshop attendance includes a comped ticket to BOAS that same night! Yippee!
