No syllabus, no set agenda. This is an improv workshop inspired entirely by whatever happens in the room. You bring the scenes, you inspire the notes, and we'll go from there. Trust me, I've got you.
Prerequisite: Any Ensemble weekly class
Kate Zak is a teacher and performer at Happier Valley Comedy. She started improvising in Miami in 2013 and has performed in festivals in Miami, Sarasota, and Hartford. She currently performs with HVC's Not in Charge, 2nd Saturdays, Dirty Vanilla Box (a duo-show with Pam Victor), and Me, Myself, and [A]I (a solo-ish show, depending on your perspective). She often makes it weird, sometimes intentionally. She hates writing in the 3rd person but Scott is making her.
- Students must be 18+ years. (In actual years, not maturity.)
- Please note that once you make your purchase, your spot in the class is non-refundable unless we have 48 hours notice and we can get someone to fill your spot.
- Our classes may involve physical activity and we could be on our feet for at least an hour; however, we're able to accommodate for all physical abilities. Please email us to let us know how we can best fit your needs or if you have any questions about accommodations.
- To support greater access for people from backgrounds that have been underrepresented or marginalized in the local arts scene, we offer the Equity Scholarship Fund. Click here to learn more!
