You've probably heard this question a lot in improv class: "What's your deal, your want, your point of view?" This question is even more important
and fun to explore in Musical Improv, where your answer becomes a path to the exact song your scene needs. But don't stop there; keep asking that question during the song itself! The choices we've already made in the scene will continue to pay off in our song's structure, lyrics, choreography, and melody. If this is the song we're in, let's make it the fullest, funnest version of that song we can possibly sing! It all comes down to one question... What's your deal?
