We've all been there. You've started a scene and can't think of what to do next. A swirl of improv rules clog your brain. You worry about doing something "wrong" that hurts your partner. What to do? These good habits: emotion, specifics and philosophy can get you out of a jam almost every time. You want it in your bones to EMOTE, SPECIFY and PHILOSOPHIZE without really having to think about it. We will drill these useful habits and look at how they get us in the flow!

WILL HINES is a founder of the World's Greatest Improv School. He has been teaching long-form improv since 2004 at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, at both its New York and Los Angeles branches. He's published a best-selling book on improv called How to Be The Greatest Improviser on Earth.
