Two Day Intermediate Clown Intensive with Virginia Scott

Sunday, Aug 4, 2024 @ 10:00 AM EDT • $250.00 (includes fees)

Description
Build on your beginner clown skills and adopt the iconic red nose in this intermediate clowning intensive lead by the amazing Virginia Scott (NY Movement Studio).  Six week payment plans available!

Let's keep the big dumb fun rolling! In this two-day intermediate workshop we will carry on our pursuit of the clown in all its unpredictable beauty, grand expressiveness and super stupid hilarity. We'll continue to strengthen the muscles of expression necessary to support the clown's mask (that round red nose!) and dive deeper into your personal connection to your playfulness and the grand and regretless expression of what makes you funny. (It's probably not what you think it is or what you desperately need it to be. It is what it is, and you will know when your clown is near when you hear a little something that generally sounds like... ha-ha-ha.) We'll take more swings at creating and playing clown games, developing complicité 3 ways, and might even make the greatest trick in the world! Taught by the incredible Virginia Scott of NY's Movement Theatre Studio.

PREREQUISITE: This workshop is open to those who have completed our February or April Intro to Clown Intensives with Virginia Scott or who have comparable, beginner clown experience who do not want to miss this amazing opportunity. If you are unsure if you meet the prerequisite, please contact us at [email protected].
