Truth Onstage is a 3-week improv and acting class dedicated to bringing your fullest, most authentic self to the stage. Not only are we enough exactly as we are—the most compelling thing we can offer in performance is the depth of our own humanity. Fully fleshed characters, wonderful specifics, surprising moments, and genuine relationships all emerge when we trust ourselves.
For intermediate and advanced improvisers and actors comfortable with spontaneous scene work.
This workshop is about sharing vulnerability with an audience, inviting them in for scenes that are rich and alive. No
schmacting—we'll focus on experiencing real emotion, rather than performing a version of it. We’ll explore how to hold onto this honesty no matter what scene we're in, staying grounded while playing heightened characters and navigating big, playful situations.
Breathe, trust, and remember: you are enough.

"Anne is one of those rare teachers who feels like she's using 100% of her brain and 100% of her heart at the same time. Her passion for what she loves to do is infectious."
"I've taken a lot of classes and workshops because I'm a nerd for this stuff and last night was the best one I've ever taken. I struggle so much with believing in myself and I feel stronger and more confident today than I did yesterday."
"I have never felt more welcome, wanted, seen, and free to play than in classes Anne has facilitated, and I will continue to seek out absolutely anything she does!"
"Anne is a truly outstanding teacher. She has an immense depth of knowledge and fervently reaches to the very bottom to give away as much of it as she can to us."
