In this staged reading of her debut play, Casey Grim exposes you to some of the messiest, scariest, and most beautiful moments of her life. Casey and her best friend, Adam, find each other, and face obstacles ranging from braving karaoke to escaping Casey’s abusive family. Throughout, Casey asks her audience: do you really have to love yourself in order to love someone else? Or can two very broken people somehow save themselves alongside each other, and even build a beautiful life together?
