The RENS are DC’s own dynamic collective delivering bold, original, character driven comedy for the culture. Their sketches blend sharp writing, electric timing, and infectious energy poking fun at society, pop culture, and the everyday tropes we all know too well. Showcasing their ability to entertain while making you think and reminisce. If In Living Color had a Millennial baby, CPS should’ve been called immediately, cuz these kids be wildn’.
Bonnet Talk
Bonnet Talk is a sketch comedy troupe that explores the hilarity and wonder of what it means to be a Black and a woman. The sketch team has a combined 20+ years of performing and improvisational comedic experiences. They draw on inspiration from their own lives, timely discourse in the diaspora, and political conversations that can authentically be explored through sketch comedy.
