Do you have a monologue you'd like to work on? What about about a scene? Working on developing a specific skill in your acting work? This is the perfect environment.
With a month-to-month commitment, you get to decide when you come and what you work on. The Laboratory will focus on monologues, scenes, and exercises that will help you develop your acting skills, from text analysis to learning to unveil for the audience.
This class will be taught by Karisa Bruin, professional actor and professor of Theatre at Fort Lewis College. Recent credits include Maude in Bakersfield Mist and Florence in The Odd Couple (Female Version) both with Thingamajig Theatre Company.
This is open to anyone who wants to act ages 15+. Registration is capped to ensure plenty of active work time during the lab.
Classes will meet Tuesday evenings 5-8pm. $100 for each 4-week series.

Lickety-Split offers improvisation classes that focus on games, character development, and ensemble work. Classes are open to anyone, regardless of experience level, unless a prerequisite is specifically listed. With training from the UCB, iO, the Second City, Magnet and Annoyance theaters, Lickety-Split brings high-level, professional comedy classes to Pagosa Springs.
A willingness to learn and have fun is all that is required. It is Lickety-Split’s mission is to bring fun and laughter and joy to their audiences and students and they believe whole-heartedly that anyone can learn to improvise.
Class-sizes are limited to ensure all participants get plenty of experience and feedback.
