The Grand Slam is a form for exploring heightening and exploration through premise and slacking. In this workshop, Jake will use the Grand Slam, a form originated at WE Improv that is part Harold and part Slacker to help performers collaborate and take big swings. The Grand Slam was designed to keep performers in the present moment and on the same page. The workshop will be broken into three components: (1) Staircase Heightening, (2) building comedic DNA through the Slacker, and (3) combining both skill sets to execute the Grand Slam.
