a Live Comedy Actual-Play where all of the checks are real life challenges. Join us to see if the players have what it takes to save the realm. Our special guest players will need to step up to the challenge IRL in a series of real life ability checks. Like a game of D&D meets Task Master, but much more chaotic.

This later shows will include themes of alcohol consumption! BYOB, which is encouraged for the full experience!

This adventure will be steered (loosely) by our show's Game Master, Gabi Swain (@gabandgoof). She'll build the adventure from audience suggestions and lead the players through a series of challenges that will test their actual Strength, Dexterity, Constitution, Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma. And of course, the crowd gets involved as well...

Content is 18+ due to themes of drinking, mild fantasy peril and real-life foolishness.

About the Swear Jar Jamboree
The Swear Jar Jamboree is Philadelphia's indie comedy + improv playground, four days at The Proscenium Theatre at the Drake (with additional workshop space at Plays & Players Theatre) running July 9–12, 2026.

We curate every show, act, workshop, and event ourselves and aim to bring together people from all over the US and across multiple comedy varieties. Throughout the festival you'll get main stage shows, community jams, and festival pass holders will get access to additional optional gatherings including an open mic.
