Micky Darling, a bright young woman from a provincial town in the Swedish countryside currently in the midst of the Midsummer Festival, gets swept up in a tornado to the magical land of Hollywood. With the help of a few friends she meets along the way, she must persevere through the trials set by a panel of judges in order for her dream to come true of becoming the May Queen
