Level 3 Long-Form Improv: Devices, Customs & Conventions

Take your longform skills to the next level in this eight-week Level 3 class focused on dynamic editing, ensemble storytelling, and advanced stagecraft. You will learn how to shape scenes in real time using theatrical edits, environmental support, and parallel storytelling. Through coached reps and focused exercises, you will build confidence guiding scene flow, heightening the Game, and creating polished longform sets with strong group awareness.

• Tag outs and tag runs
• Split scenes and parallel worlds
• Scene dressing and environmental endowment
• Side support and atmosphere building
• Ensemble awareness and scene flow
• Armando structure fundamentals

By the end of Level 3, students will feel comfortable steering longform structure, supporting scenes from inside or outside the frame, and creating cohesive, high-energy sets as an ensemble.

Prerequisite: Levels 1-2 at Station Theater
Price: $250 plus 8.25% sales tax

All students must adhere to the policies outlined in the Station Theater Handbook & Code of Conduct and Performers Bill of Rights. Additionally, a signed General Liability Form must be on file before the end of the first class session.

CAN I BRING A GUEST TO CLASS?
We do not allow guests in our classes.

IS THERE AN AGE REQUIREMENT FOR CLASSES?
Students must be 18 years or older. 

CAN I BUY TICKETS AT THE DOOR?
Online ticket sales close 1 hour before the class starts. We do not offer sales at the door for classes.
