This show features six incredible stand-up comedians from all corners of the country with credits including Zanies, the Laugh Factory, Second City, Sno Jam Comedy Festival, and the Tree Town Comedy Festival.
Stand-up
Spencer Gordman
Starting at only 16-years-old in 2019, Spencer Gordman uses his sly intellect and silly attitude to craft goofy and creative takes on a wide range of topics from gun control to summer camps. Now an old grizzled vet at 21, he is a regular at the Comedy Club of Kansas City working with nationally touring comedians such as Jared Freid, Greg Warren, Adam Ray, and Eric Schwartz.
Allie Lawrence
Allie Lawrence is a Brooklyn based comedian and writer originally from Denver, Colorado. Her comedic stylings are character driven, observation based, and she’s often noted for her dulcet, lilting tones. Allie can be found performing all over New York City.
Hannah Belmont
Hannah Belmont is a comedian and producer from the suburbs of Chicago. She is one of about six Jews from her incredibly Christian hometown and she will make sure that you know that. Hannah is an up and coming comedian and she has made her mark at many notable venues, including Zanies, the Laugh Factory, the Comedy Bar, the Comedy Vault, Hilarities, the Lincoln Lodge, Second City, several Don’t Tell shows and many more clubs around the Midwest.
Nora Jefferies
Nora is a queer comedian based in Brooklyn, just like the rest of your friends. She co-hosts the monthly standup showcase Sounds Great, which has been featured in Bushwick Daily. She can be found all over the country touring and performing in comedy festivals. You will probably run into her in a bar basement sometime soon.
Bree Kalhorn
Bree Kalhorn's fresh take on comedy is candid and provocative. Her cutting wit has resonated with audiences at the Des Comedie, Laugh Out Loveland, Funlap, and Sno Jam comedy festivals. Locally, Bree is known for her sharp tongue, winning several roast battles around Omaha (and one in Iowa). She was interviewed about this on KPAO TV show, “Food and Laughter,” episode 10. She later returned as a guest host in season 2, episodes 9 and 10.
Andrew Yang
Voted “Best Comedian in Washtenaw County” in 2022 and 2023 by Current Magazine, Andrew Yang is a Michigan comic who runs shows at a punk rock venue in the Blind Pig and is a founder of the Tree Town Comedy Festival. Onstage, Andrew charms audiences with his energetic personality and engrossing stories mostly at his own expense.
Dayna McTavish
Dayna McTavish is a Denver based comic who draws on her midwestern roots and her perpetual singlehood to create her comedy. She runs a monthly brewery comedy show and the popular Dating is a Dumpster Fire show around theaters in Denver. She performs at Comedy Works and festivals, including the Chief Comedy Festival and her comedy writing has appeared in McSweeney’s and amusing emails to her friends.
