Jay Boyd is a comedian from Aiken, South Carolina, whose humor is as real as it gets. Awkward, honest, and straight from that big heart of his. Known for turning life’s most uncomfortable moments into laugh-out-loud comedy. Jay brings an authentic, raw, fun, relatable energy to every stage he steps on. Bringing a much needed light to any situation!
Returning for his second year to be a part of the New South Comedy Festival, Jay has been booked for many local shows throughout South Carolina since he’s started his comedy career in 2018. One of these performances include the Blackville Music and Arts Festival in 2025! When he isn’t on a stage, Jay spends most of his time being active with basketball, pickleball and top golf. He spends the rest of his time with friends, family, gaming and entertaining fans through social media!

Tucker Lawson is a comic from Greenville, South Carolina. He grew up on a dirt road, worked in politics for a decade, and earned a law degree. Tucker has been performing on stages across the South, including last year's The New South Comedy Festival in Greenville, SC, The Laughing Skull in Atlanta, GA, The Lyric Theater in Oxford, MS, The Hi-Tone in Memphis, TN, and many more, for almost ten years. Don’t let his seemingly Good Ole Boy look fool you. Tucker is sharp, intellectual, and aggressively self-aware, blending rapid-fire wit with personal storytelling. He often explores themes like dating, religion, and identity with equal parts depth and absurdity. His delivery is grounded in a thoughtful, almost philosophical perspective, and it is always sure to make you laugh.

Meredith Oliver is a stand up comedian from Charlotte, NC. She has seasonal allergies and seasonal affective disorder.

Jacob Manlucu is a Charlotte-based stand-up comedian known for his laid-back delivery, sharp observations, and offbeat perspective on everyday life. Performing for nearly five years, he blends personal stories with clever misdirection and self-aware humor that catches audiences off guard. Jacob is the producer and host of the weekly Common Market South End Comedy Open Mic and has performed at Comedy Bar Chicago, The Lincoln Lodge, Comedy Project in Grand Rapids, Playhouse Comedy Club, and Don't Tell Comedy shows in Myrtle Beach, Richmond, and Virginia Beach.

Jen Brown, of Greenville, SC, is a stand up comic who has performed across the southeast. She is also a comedy show producer who loves bringing other comics to the stage. Jen's comedy style can be described as observational storytelling that humorously displays her tendency to overthink, even in everyday situations. Jen has a deep appreciation for the healing power of comedy and the connections that can be made when people laugh together.

Amber Ritchie, raised in rural Alabama, made it to Atlanta, GA where she began performing comedy — often described as real-world trauma mixed with southern charm. Since 2023, Amber has been performing all over the southeast (including Southern Fried Queer Pride Festival, New South Comedy Festival, Good Vibes Comedy Festival, Don’t Tell: Nashville, Scruffy City Music Hall, Helium Comedy Club, Woodlawn Theatre, and Model Face Comedy) and can’t wait to make you laugh.

Lenise J Lyons is an ATLien, city planner, comedian, improviser, and writer that likes to bring all these things to the scene! She's performed comedy all over Georgia and aspires to make others laugh as loud as she does!

Min McWIlliams got her comedic start while living in Nashville, TN. After moving back to her hometown of Asheville, NC last year she has grown within the community working close with producers and comics alike in the area. Pulling from her full and interesting life, she is able to pull humor from any situation.

Michael Halcomb wears many hats. He's the author of around 30 books. He's an educator in both high schools and colleges. He's a professor and holds 5 degrees. He's a prolific presenter, TedX talker, and podcaster. And of course he's a stand-up comedian who hosts, opens, features, headlines, produces, and teaches comedy.
