SKETCH COMEDY 2

Sketch acting students who want to continue developing their performance skills and take them to the next level. In this 6 weeks class, you'll deepen your experience with the sketch comedy fundamentals you learned in Sketch Acting 1, refining the basics and tackling fresh subjects; challenge yourself to widen your playable character range; touch on musical numbers, impressions, and monologues; stretch your character-building muscles by playing against your natural type; adjust your vocal pacing with agility, incorporate direction without losing your own vision; develop consistently powerful vocal projection and articulation.   

Your six weeks of laughter-filled artistic growth finishes with a wide-ranging showcase for an invited audience.

 
Prerequisite: Must have completed Sketch Comedy 1 at Improv New Mexico.
Led by instructor: Max Maliga of The Faculty Lounge.
