In the early 1900s, Henrietta Leavitt joins a group of women “computers” at the Harvard Observatory, barred from using telescopes or presenting original ideas. While charting stars for a male astronomer who values “girl hours” over insight, Henrietta pursues her own groundbreaking research in secret. As she balances scientific ambition with personal obligations, her discoveries challenge both astronomical conventions and societal limits on women. Based on a true story, this moving play celebrates the overlooked women whose work forever changed our understanding of the universe.
