Great scenes lead to great songs! This workshop will focus on fun and focused scenes that catapult us into rich, easeful songs. Homing in on basics you've heard before - clear emotion, relationship, point of view - participants will receive coaching on how to nail the fundamentals to make that "snap into song" as confident as possible. We'll practice naming exactly what's happening with our characters, intensifying those feelings, and hearing when the music tells you "that's the title of your song!" From there, we'll get reps and dig into more advanced skills like when to use side support & walk ons and discerning to whom the song belongs.
Set yourself up for musical success in this advanced workshop with Nate Shaffer!
