A game of telephone from Chicago to Hadley

Last summer, I trained at the new Home Theater in Chicago with some not-at-all-new improv teachers. Throughout the year, new insights have kept coming, and it’s time to pass these goodies along. In this workshop, I'm sharing the "greatest hits": a hand-picked selection of my absolute favorite exercises, mindsets, and revelations from the Windy City. Consider it a giant game of telephone that started in Chicago and will end with whatever new gems we discover together along the way. *No flight required. Long distance messaging and data rates do not apply.

Kate Zak is a teacher and performer at Happier Valley Comedy. She started improvising in Miami in 2013 and has performed in festivals in Miami, Sarasota, and Hartford. She currently performs with HVC's Not in Charge, 2nd Saturdays, Dirty Vanilla Box (a duo-show with Pam Victor), and Me, Myself, and [A]I (a solo-ish show, depending on your perspective). She often makes it weird, sometimes intentionally. She hates writing in the 3rd person but Scott is making her.
