Read modern poetry, have group discussions like the ones you (hopefully) loved in English class, and write your own series of poems. 

This workshop will feature poetry handouts, tailored writing exercises, group discussions, and invitations to read your work aloud. 

This workshop is open anyone interested in poetry. Experience writing poetry is not mandatory, though it may be helpful :) 

We will be meeting in person in Portland, Maine on the Monday, October 20th from 7:30-9pm.
