The original Chicago longform format, the Harold, was conceived as a tool to help an ensemble work together to create a dynamic and satisfying improvised show. Unite with other students, become an unstoppable creative force, establish dynamic show structure, and lead with discovery. Learn how to navigate pattern, game, and story in this classic format to perform three shows at the Curious Comedy Annex Theater. 

Whether you love the Harold, hate the Harold, or have no funkin' idea what it is, this is the class for you. 

 

All students will receive expert instruction on the Harold format, as well as coaching and feedback for three class performances at Curious Comedy Theater.

The class will include 7 class rehearsals and 3 performances with coaching at Curious Comedy Theater.

MASK & VACCINE POLICY: At this time we are not requiring proof of vaccination or masks to attend our shows and events. We strongly encourage those who can get vaccinated to do so for your safety and the safety of others. If you feel more comfortable wearing a mask, we encourage you to do so. Many of our staff are still choosing to wear masks, so it's likely you will not be the only one in a mask. We support you taking whatever precautions feel right to you!
