Attendees are allowed (and encouraged) to sign up for multiple workshops!

Saturday, August 30th, 10 am - 1 pm: TRIANGLE OF THE SCENE
A crash course workshop on character game and gifting, as based on Paul's book of the same name. This 3-hour workshop will help make you the scene partner your improv friends fight to be in scenes with as you learn some simple yet powerful techniques to bring your characters to life on stage.

Saturday, August 30th, 2 pm - 5 pm: THE SLACKER
An exploration of the wildly fun improv longform "The Slacker." Known for its dynamic stage pictures and moving sense of play, the slacker is a great form for teams of all sizes interested in learning a new way to create rich comedic scenes on stage.

Sunday, August 31st, 9 am - 12 pm: STARTING SCENES STRONGER
Learn to jumpstart any scene with this primer on the fundamentals of scene beginnings. Perfect for anyone who feels stuck in a rut or who is looking for new ways to expand what's possible when starting scenes. All great scenes come from great beginnings, and this is your beginning with great scenes.

Sunday, August 31st, 12:30 pm - 3:30 pm: WHERE AM I AND WHAT AM I HOLDING?
Specifics are the spice of life in improv, and this workshop will help you explore new ways to ground your scenes as you lock in details of your environment and the world of your show.  Work with Paul as he guides you through some exercises to help you shape your scenes with powerful yet simple details.
