For 2026, we explore Identity • Diaspora • Belonging
Nollywood Nights is an annual celebration of Nigerian culture, cinema, and conversation, presented by the Nigerian Association of Las Vegas (NALV). For 2026, we explore Identity • Diaspora • Belonging, anchored by a screening of Gone Too Far!, the acclaimed British-Nigerian comedy adapted from Bola Agbaje’s Olivier Award-winning stage play and premiered at the BFI London Film Festival. With warmth, wit, and humor, Gone Too Far! explores family, cultural pride, and the complexities of belonging across cultures.
The evening begins with a Cocktail Reception & Red Carpet, featuring Nigerian art, literature, fashion, and light refreshments. Guests are encouraged to dress in celebration of Nigerian and African style. Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase at the bar. Following the screening, acclaimed Nigerian actor O.C. Ukeje, who stars in the film, joins invited panelists for a live conversation extending the evening’s themes beyond the screen through artistic, scholarly, and lived perspectives on identity, diaspora, and belonging.
