Like many art forms, improv draws from our human experiences to tell stories—sometimes comedic, sometimes dramatic. But rarely do we create space to reflect on or process the vulnerable truths that surface in those moments
No Mom, Yes Mom was born from that observation.
NMYM explores what happens when performers intentionally draw from their real relationships with their mothers as source material. Through long-form improv, personal memory and spontaneous storytelling collide, creating scenes that are as raw as they are unpredictable.
At the end of the performance, the audience is invited deeper—hearing directly from the performers about what it was like to tap into their own lived experiences, and asking questions about the emotional and creative journey that unfolded on stage.
It may be funny.
It may be dramatic.
It may be uncomfortable.
But it will definitely be deeply human.
