My Carmilla

Saturday, Apr 25, 2026 @ 2:00 PM EDT • $5.00 (includes fees)

Description
Step inside the haunting world of My Carmilla, a bold folk horror reimagining of the 1872
novella. Told through queer, feminist, and postcolonial lenses, it probes the tangled dynamics of
power, desire, and identity. Fans of Sinners, Killing Eve, and AMC’s Interview with the Vampire
will be captivated by this deliciously thrilling, genre-bending new work featuring original music.
Presented as an intimate staged reading, this show invites audience engagement, with your
feedback helping to shape the story as it develops toward its fully staged premiere at the
Philadelphia Fringe Festival in September. Tickets are pay-what-you-can, making My Carmilla
accessible to all curious theatergoers.

Join us for a story of longing, violence, and moral ambiguity. The role of Carmilla will be played
by Sabrina Caruso on April 23 and Asha Bagal Kelly on April 25. See it twice to explore the
question: who is the predator, and who is the prey?
