Welcome to WLOL New Tonight! Flip your information station to Misfit Improv's news-based comedy show, all inspired by local and national newspaper articles that we bring to you--the audience! Each article that you choose for us will be read aloud and we'll spin it into spontaneous scenes! We know the news can be hard to hear nowadays, so leave it to us to help you feel a little lighter about the world. Get the news you can use, thanks to WLOL!

Asheville’s best improvisers bring you a fast-paced, interactive comedy show full of scenes, songs, and games—all based on your suggestions. The second half features a fully improvised musical. Come laugh with us at a show made just for you.
FOR MISFIT COMEDY LONG-FORM SHOWS:
Asheville’s top improvisers perform long-form improv—full stories and characters sparked by a single audience suggestion. Each Misfit team brings its own style, creating sharp, surprising worlds in real time.
FOR MISFIT SCIENCE THEATER:
Flying saucers, shrink rays, and alien worlds collide as Misfit Improv dubs a vintage sci-fi film live. We watch an old movie we’ve never seen and make up all the voices, sound effects, and story on the spot—space lasers, wild twists, and full-tilt hilarity included.
