MESSING WITH LEHR
An improvisational comedy clusterfuck starring Susan Messing & John Lehr. Susan and John are a delightful couple. Their improvised comedy is dangerously tasty. Good luck to everyone! Susan Messing and John Lehr have performed Messing With Lehr all over the world. Don't miss these masters of improv in Philly for one night only during their East Coast tour! Presented by Crossroads Comedy Theater & SideQuest Theater.
About Susan Messing: Susan Messing has been an improviser since a mimed cd player was considered new. A graduate of Northwestern University’s School of Communication, she studied and performed with the breakout teams Blue Velveeta, Molly, and Blessing at the iO. She is an alumna of Chicago’s Second City Mainstage, and is a founder of Chicago’s infamous Annoyance Theatre, where her critically acclaimed show, Messing With A Friend, has had an 11 plus year residency. She has and continues to headline more national and international festivals than she can recount. She has created and taught her unique curriculum at the iO, The Annoyance, The Second City, Loyola University, DePaul’s Theatre School, The School at Stepppenwolf, and currently is an adjunct professor for The University of Chicago. Her essays have been included in The Second City Almanac of Improvisation and Charna Halpern’s Art By Committee. Susan is based in Chicago and is learning to apply new words like ‘patience.’
About John Lehr: John Lehr is the star/creator/writer for “10 Items or Less” (TBS), “JailBait” (Sony/Crackle) and “Quickdraw” (Hulu). John has appeared in numerous television series, including “Friends” and was a series regular on “Jesse,”.
