ABOUT DAVE:

David Sinker graduated from Marquette University in 1981 with a major in Broadcast Communication, and a minor in Journalism.  Dave entered the entertainment industry immediately following graduation. He worked in radio, television, film, live theater, and as a newspaper columnist. Dave wrote, acted, and did voiceover work in TV and radio commercials in Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Louis, and Indianapolis.  he was cast as a member of The Second City Theater in 1987. Dave performed Improv and Sketch Comedy in thirty two states with The Second City National Touring Company. He also wrote and performed with The Second City Business Theater. And was an understudy performer in two Second City Mainstage productions.Dave has written comedy for five national television shows; he won a Chicago/Midwest Emmy award in 1995 for the MSI Science Zone. Dave has written four children's films; each won Parent's Choice Awards. Dave spent seventeen years as the owner, Artistic Director, and performer at The Comedy Shrine Theater. Dave performed in over 4000 Improv comedy shows.  His Sinkerswim Players Business Theater Troupe entertained corporate clients across the USA. Dave has taught improv acting workshops for adults and children for over forty years. He performed at the Uptown Theater with The Second City in his hometown of Utica.
