Manly Men Seminar - Fringe Show

The Manly Men Seminar is a high-energy comedic play in which two women portray Rex and Blade, a pair of cargo-wearing "masculinity gurus" hawking a $3,200 seminar on how to get laid. Fueled by testosterone injections, ripped muscle tanks and an absurd amount of shotgunned beer, the duo barrels through a 12 step, “science backed” program that slowly unravels into something unexpectedly tender. The show is equal parts parody, love letter, and a chaotic observation on the most entertaining tropes of the modern man, asking what happens when masculinity cracks open just enough to let something real through.
