1. The conservatory will be a class of 8-12 students who want to commit to working closely together for 4 months as a tight ensemble. This will likely be best suited to advanced students who have completed the Curious Comedy - or another - training center.

2. The Spring ensemble will run from early March to the end of June. Fall Conservatory will have separate auditions. Spring 2026 will be an intensive long form study covering basic formats to more complex throughout the 4 month period.

3. The conservatory ensemble will rehearse once per week on Wednesdays from 7pm-9:30pm, as well as perform in 2 three-weekend runs in the Curious Annex,  with 5 shows each. Spring runs will be April/June. Not all cast members will be expected to be in every show - but cast members will be expected to prioritize availability for these rehearsals and shows.

4. Ensemble members will be expected to learn about and to participate in the production-side as well as promote their shows.

5. Ensemble members will receive direct and extensive notes as both an ensemble and as individuals. This program is for people who are open to receiving professional level notes and want to be challenged and to grow as artists to achieve new levels of excellence.

6. At least half of the program for each session will be led by Curious Comedy Artistic Director, Stacey Hallal.

7. The cost will be $750 for the full 4 months. Payment plans are available.

MASK & VACCINE POLICY: At this time we are not requiring proof of vaccination or masks to attend our shows and events. We strongly encourage those who can get vaccinated to do so for your safety and the safety of others. If you feel more comfortable wearing a mask, we encourage you to do so. Many of our staff are still choosing to wear masks, so it's likely you will not be the only one in a mask. We support you taking whatever precautions feel right to you!
