Level Four: Longform Improv Structure

Tuesday, Aug 11, 2026 @ 7:00 PM EDT • $260.34 (includes fees)

Description
Building on the strong scenework foundation provided in our previous levels, this eight-week Level Four class introduces the techniques, structures, and theory that serve as the basis for successful and interesting longform improv pieces. In addition, we'll cover some classic forms such as the Harold, the Deconstruction, the Armando (deconstructed monologue), and more. By the end of Level Four, students should have all the tools that they need to mount any longform improv format of their choosing. In addition to eight weeks of classes, students will perform in a four-week run of shows at The Commodore.

Short answer: yes! We offer make-up opportunities along the way. We obviously prefer if everyone can come to all six classes, but if you know you will miss one (or think you might), don't let that stop you from signing up. You can get in touch with us at [email protected] if you have questions about this.
