Sure, Improv is often hilarious, but more importantly, it is a practice that facilitates listening, supporting one another's ideas and finding the funny in what's already there. It is comedy through creative collaboration, flexible thinking and supported risk taking.
This week, we begin with Improv basics but focus on creating characters scenes that stretch our imaginations while building confidence in oneself and others. All levels welcome. Students will be divided into groups based on age and/or ability to focus. Performance on the final day.
Students should bring a snack and a refillable water bottle.
