No music theory? No problem!
If you can improvise a sentence, you can improvise a song. This series embraces a 'no-music-theory' approach to musical improv, introducing students to the fundamental building blocks of improvising song structure without knowing hardly anything about song structure, and building on those skills with elements like genre, emotion, and format.
You’ll learn how to sweep an audience off their feet by putting your thoughts and emotions into verses that sound like they’ve already been written. It’s easier than you think! Get ready to amp-up your skills, surprise yourself, have a blast, and fall in love with musical improvisation. Andrew Lloyd Webber, eat your heart out.
