Improvising Shakespeare by Amanda Rountree

About the Instructor
Amanda Rountree has performed improvised theatre professionally since 1992, taught since 1998, and directed since 2002. In 2014, she moved to the Atlanta area from Chicago, where she was a faculty member with the Second City Training Center. Previously, she was a performer and instructor with Seattle’s Unexpected Productions, where she first improvised full plays in the style of Shakespeare nearly twenty years ago. Amanda has entertained audiences in eight countries and throughout North America using a wide variety of styles, disciplines, and formats. She’s performed everything from improv games in Kentucky and improvised Shakespeare at the Colorado Shakespeare Festival to drama therapy in Japan and premier formats in Germany.
