Welcome to improv! This class will introduce you to improv comedy in a fun, supportive environment. We use a variety of games, techniques, and exercises to promote play and build a solid foundation. If you’ve ever wondered if improv might be for you, this is your chance.

Our focus areas include active listening, being in the moment, and building confidence. We’ll also begin developing unique characters, physicality, and relationships that help bring an improvised performance to life.

Each class is 2.5 hours. This eight-week course culminates in a class show in week eight.

We offer improv classes and occasional sketch and stand up offerings from top local and visiting instructors. Classes take place in hear.say theater or our new training center.
