Messing with Lehr are a delightful couple, an improvised comedy romp to wherever they want to go. They have both taught improv and toured for decades, regularly selling out shows and workshops not just in the US but all around the world. We are delighted to welcome them to Ann Arbor during our town's renowned Art Fair, with a reminder that Improv is Art.

Susan Messing graduated from Northwestern University with a theatre degree in 1986, which is probably before your birth. She has been improvising since, creating curriculum, teaching and performing for the iO, The Annoyance, the Second City, and around the globe. Her critically-acclaimed show, Messing with a Friend, ran for over 11 years at the Annoyance, where she is a founding member, and her current worldwide partner is the brilliant John Lehr.
John Lehr is one of the original Geico Cavemen from the wildly successful commercial campaign. He also created and starred in three IMPROVISED comedy series: “QuickDraw” (Hulu), “10 Items” (TBS), and “Jailbait" (Sony). John has appeared in numerous television series, including “Friends” and was a series regular on “Jesse” (NBC). His feature film roles include “The Sweetest Thing,” “Kicking and Screaming,” “Mr. Jealousy,” and “Highball.” John’s hosting credits include “I’m a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!” (ABC); and “Clash of the Commercials” (CBS) with co-host Heidi Klum.
