Newt Work Comedy is an award-winning Raleigh, North Carolina and Chicago, Illinois-based improv and sketch comedy group. Its diverse membership comprises all races, religions and genders. Frequently performing at ComedyWorx Theater in Raleigh, the group has also performed in several cities including Washington D.C, Brooklyn, NY, San Francisco, CA and Chicago, IL. Newt Work blends irreverent comedy and meta-humor - you truly never know where a set will take you. You won’t want to miss this!

Homemade Dynamite, made up of Bob Beshere and John Chenoweth, is a longform improv duo based out of The Idiot Box Comedy Club, in Greensboro, North Carolina. With a unique format and a focus on character and world-building, Bob and John bring over 30 years of combined improv experience and a bottomless well of popular culture knowledge to their longform improv performances. They’ve performed as Homemade Dynamite at the North Carolina Comedy Festival, the Athens Improv Festival, as well as multiple performances at the New South Comedy Festival. Bob and John both love New South and the city of Greenville. They are always honored to perform at Alchemy and would like to stress this is NOT pandering, but if reading this gets you to laugh a little easier, so be it.

That Thing You Pull When You Want To Stop (TTYPWYWTS) is a Real Chicago Improv group that specializes in Real Chicago Improv. A Epicurean ensemble forged in the iron crucible beneath the iO Theater, they specialize in strong group work and following the threads created in their scenes to create a show that could only be created by these self proclaimed "insanos".
