Improv Basics Workshop with Kelly Conrad (9/2)

Tuesday, Sep 2, 2025 @ 6:30 PM EDT • $20.00 (includes fees)

Description
Join us for a one-day Improv Basics workshop designed for everyone - not just actors or performer types. This two-hour session is all about trying something new, laughing a lot, meeting new people, and surprising yourself along the way. Never done improv before? Perfect. No clue what it is? Even better. Whether you're just curious, want a sneak peek before diving into a full class, or just need a break from your routine—this is your chance to jump in and play.

And here’s a free secret: improv isn’t just about being funny. It’s about learning how to really listen, say “yes” to new ideas, communicate clearly, roll with the unexpected, and bring more creativity and joy into your everyday life—at work, at home, and everywhere in between. Come see what all the “yes, and” is about. No pressure. No experience needed. Just show up and play.

DATE & TIME: Tuesday, 9/2 @ 6:30pm - 8:30pm
COST: Only $20!
LOCATION: The Coop, 1025 Hamilton Street, Philadelphia, PA 19123

Though this course stands on its own as a fun and beneficial activity, it also serves as a sample class for our 8 week improv course. Attendees that participate in this workshop and then enroll in an Improv 1 course will receive a $20 refund on enrollment.
