Viewpoints with Tatiana Godfrey — Improv Cincinnati Conservatory
Conservatory is Exclusive to House Teams Cast or by Invitation Only
8 weeks - 2 hours - no class on Valentine's Day
Discover a physical, ensemble-driven approach to performance in this conservatory class on Viewpoints, taught by Tatiana Godfrey. Viewpoints trains actors to build scenes through movement, space, and timing, sharpening awareness and unlocking instinctive choices. Instead of relying on planning or character backstory, students learn to follow physical impulses, respond to their environment, and create dynamic stage pictures in real time.
Through exercises exploring tempo, spatial relationships, kinesthetic response, gesture, and more, performers develop stronger presence, deeper ensemble connection, and a sharper sense of theatricality. This class is ideal for improvisers and actors looking to expand their physical vocabulary, heighten collaboration, and bring more immediacy and freedom to their work. Fair warning: this class involves safe/appropriate touching and being physically vulnerable. Class will be at St. John's Unitarian in the spacious Krolfifer Hall.
