Improv Implosion is a weekly improv showcase featuring a rotating cast of Houston’s most exciting improvisers, along with two guest troupes performing their own hilarious sets. With fresh, spontaneous comedy each week, you’ll never see the same show twice!

- HOT GOSS: Hot Goss enjoys the finer things in life. Baked goods, fine art, pineapple drinks, and improv comedy. - (NOT ANOTHER) BROS NIGHT OUT: Due to recent introspection, the troupe formerly known as "Bros Night Out" has rebranded to be more inclusive. Watch us work through our relationships with healthy (and former) masculinity. CAST: Austin Faulk, Eric Peña, Aiden Garcia, Aubrey Holcomb

- BUTT-ERFLY STUFF: Butt-erfly Stuff will weave you through a series of problems (and maybe some solutions). Come see us work through our sticky situations, and maybe you’ll learn something along the way.CAST: Aiden Garcia, Aubrey Holcomb
- HEARTSHOT KID DISASTER: Saurabh asked me to write the description but I got distracted by his snazzy new haircut. We'll be throwing fists at each other after he sees this! CAST: Saurabh Pande Eric Peña

- OZDUST: The most swankified troupe in town! We’re here, we’re queer, and we’re serving up unscripted magic. CAST: Ann Hurrington, Austin Faulk, Jack Keller, Sarah Petty
- BABY KNUCKLE: This is the famous Baby Knuckle improv troupe. We know of no brand of improv produced by any other troupe that costs so much to brew and age. Our exclusive Beechwood Ageing produces a taste, smoothness, and enjoyability you will find in no other improv troupe at any price. WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED
- 2219 Crockett Street #C2 - Find us on Google Maps.
- We are located next to Toros HTX Soccer, between Taylor & Hemphill.
- We are part of Sawyer Yards, the largest creative campus in the nation, in the heart of Arts District Houston.
PARKING
Parking can be challenging during special events and sold-out shows. We recommend Uber, Lyft, or carpooling.
- We share limited free parking spots with Toros HTX Soccer.
- Free street parking is available on Crockett, Hemphill, Summer, & Taylor (check street signs).
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
The #30 bus stops at Sawyer & Shearn, just a 2-minute walk from the theater.
CAN I BRING KIDS?
Shows are generally PG-13 & up, but improv is unpredictable. We cannot guarantee all content will be family-friendly. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Small children who may disrupt the show should stay home.
WHEN DO DOORS OPEN?
Doors open 10 minutes before showtime.
SEATING
We offer first come, first served General Admission seating. We have approximately 40 seats, including 30 chairs and 10-12 bench seats.
CAN I BUY TICKETS AT THE DOOR?
Online ticket sales close 1 hour before showtime. Limited tickets may be available at the door. If the show is sold out, we will post a SOLD OUT notice on social media.
REFUNDS & TICKET TRANSFERS
We DO NOT offer refunds for shows, workshops, or classes. With advance notice, we may be able to transfer your ticket to a different date. Email [email protected] as soon as possible.
BYOB & SNACKS
Feel free to bring your own drinks and snacks! Just avoid full meals or anything with loud packaging or strong odors. Thanks for keeping our space fun and distraction-free!
- Alcohol (21+): You're welcome to bring alcoholic beverages, but don't forget to bring your own cups, ice, and openers—we don’t provide set-ups. Please keep drinks sealed in the parking lot and enjoy them inside or on our patio. Follow all TABC rules and drink responsibly!
