In your work as a therapist, the stakes feel pretty high to “get it right.” And yet…we’re all fallible humans doing the best we can. Improv provides a useful blueprint for navigating life by accepting the reality of the moment so we can move forward together with peace and ease. The act of skillfully stepping into the unknown requires loosening the grip of imposter syndrome and perfectionism. With equal parts wisdom and humor,  Happier Valley Comedy's Head of Happiness Pam Victor and independently-licensed therapist and improv student Nichole Wofford offer simple, effective tools to quiet internal messages of fear and self-judgment, so you can bring your full intelligence, capabilities, and authenticity to the important work you do with clients.

Using easy-to-learn improv-enriched exercises and guided discussions, you'll get hands-on experience in how to quiet the inner critic, reframe challenges, and disempower perceived failure that inhibits progress at work. If you hear "improv" and think "Eek!", fear not. Pam and Nichole specialize in making sure all people along the introvert-extrovert spectrum feel comfy, successful, and have a blast learning and growing together.

This workshop also provides you with opportunities to connect with other mental healthcare providers at various stages in the profession, so you can benefit from the critical support provided by intentional, meaningful, and joyful connection. This engaging and fun interactive professional development event is designed to boost the resilience, connection, and authenticity of mental healthcare providers looking to navigate the future with more ease and peace.
