Description
Fest of Fools, an alternative comedy and improv festival hosted by Jackalope Comedy Theater in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is celebrating its fourth year! And this year, we are taking submissions for any comedy acts that want to come and get foolish.
Jackalope Theater is a 55 seat, basement theater in midtown Tulsa. We offer weekly shows, classes, and open jams. We enjoy featuring traveling acts and guest instructors, along with our focus to provide a strong foundation for local comedy theater artists.
Who Should Apply
- Improv teams, sketch and hybrid acts are welcome
- All experience levels
- Tulsa-based and out-of-town performers
We are open to different media and formats as well.
How We Select Acts
Submissions are reviewed by a small panel of festival producers and artists. We look at:

- Overall quality of performance
We program for variety. Different styles, tones, and experience levels are all considered and appreciated.
Fees and Performer Perks

- Regular submission fee is $25
- Selected performers receive festival passes to the concession room, overflow theater, and available theater seating
- Travel and lodging are the responsibility of the performers unless otherwise noted

- Notifications sent: Week of February 16th
