Monday nights belong to the poets.
every.Word Poetry's Monday Open Mic is a weekly gathering for Austin's spoken word, poetry, and music community. Share your original work, try something new, or simply grab a seat and experience what the community brings to the mic.
Join us on the first three Mondays of each month at The VORTEX. The fourth and fifth Monday is our community bye week.
Show: 8-10 PM | Performer Check-In: 7:30 PM

Location: The VORTEX'S Outdoor Stage, inside The Butterfly Bar, or in the Eloise Stage (2307 Manor Rd.)

Parking: Free and open to The VORTEX public, early arrival encouraged.
Share your original work or simply sit back and take it all in. Before, during, and after the show, hang out at The Butterfly Bar and grab a bite to eat at Patrizi's all at the VORTEX.
Note: The open mic is primarily held on the outdoor stage, however in unpleasant weather, i.e. weather below 65 degrees or rain, it will be held inside The Butterfly Bar or in the Eloise Stage. In cases of unsafe road conditions, it will be canceled.
