"Dentata" is a joyful, riotous, feral exploration of feminine ferocity, told through the poetry of witches, a misunderstood Medusa, games with the audience, and of course, a giant operatic vagina puppet.

Julia VanderVeen is an award-winning actor and clown, previously based in NYC. She has traveled the world performing, from the Mediterranean to Alaska. Julia has trained extensively in Clown and Bouffon, and apprenticed under head of physical theatre at Yale University, Christopher Bayes. Her first solo show, My Grandmother's Eyepatch, received rave ***** reviews at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and was featured in the NY Times. Currently, Julia is in development for an all female Bouffon show entitled Cookies about the January 6th insurrection. Julia resides with her husband and her cat, and teaches clown at Dynamic El Dorado.
There is ample free and paid parking on Edgewood Avenue. Please plan to arrive early if you don't know the area. Online ticket sales cut off approximately one hour before showtime. Doors open 15 minutes prior to show start time, unless otherwise noted. Tickets may be available for purchase at the door, depending on capacity. Due to the nature of our performances all show are "18 and over" unless otherwise noted. Show schedules and lineups are subject to change. Ticket reservations will be released at the scheduled show start time and may be redistributed. Currently registered students may see shows for free on a stand-by basis if seats are available. All sales are final. In the event that you are unable to attend a performance that you have tickets for, you can exchange your ticket for another upcoming event or receive a credit towards a future order. All exchanges or credit requests must be sent to [email protected] at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time for the show. All other requests will be not be considered.
