Loyal Fans, start your engines! The opening match of the 2026 ComedySportz World Championship pits the hometown Jersey Shore Things against the last year’s Championship finalists the Indianapolis Circle City Slammers to begin the War at the Shore, the Battle at the Beach, the Yes, And on the Yeah, Sand!

Championship matches are ONE HOUR of improv wits and bits with NO half-time intermission. Everything is made up based on your suggestions, and you help determine the winners! Comic laughletes from all over the US are only in town for one week to determine who is this year's ComedySportz team champions. The stakes are high, the laughs are plenty and the excitement is real!  

Come for one, two or three matches in a night! Matches are played at 6, 7:30 and 9pm in the Palaia Theater at the Jersey Shore Arts Center.
