Come together with us on October 1st, the start of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, for an evening of remembrance, awareness, community, and laughter at a Seattle Comedy Theater's ComedySportz match. This special event will benefit the One Love Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to educating young people about healthy and unhealthy relationships before abuse begins. Proceeds and one-third of ticket sales will support Maddy Brockert's Chicago Marathon fundraiser benefiting the One Love Foundation in honor of the 15th anniversary of her mom, Susan Brockert's passing.
After Susan lost her life to relationship abuse, her story has inspired nearly a decade and a half of advocacy, fundraising, community engagement, and education to help raise awareness and prevent relationship abuse across the country. Susan loved the theater, had an infectious laugh, and was a phenomenal athlete, making a ComedySportz improv show a fitting tribute to her life and spirit. Join us for an evening of laughter as we celebrate Susan's legacy and raise critical funds for One Love's mission to create healthier relationships and a future free from relationship abuse.
1/3 of all ticket sales is donated to One Love Foundation. You can also donate directly here. Doors and bar open 6:30pm. Match begins promptly at 7pm. Please arrive early as parking in Fremont can be challenging.
Refund Policy: Purchases are final and refunds are not issued. In the event the customer cannot attend on the date or time they have selected, Seattle Comedy Theater will allow the customer to exchange their ticket for a different date or time, provided the customer has given at least 8 hours notice.
