Coaching Workshop: How To Use Your Toolbelt (Saturday 10/17, 10:00am - 12:00pm)

Saturday, Oct 17, 2026 @ 10:00 AM EDT • $27.34 (includes fees)

Description
How To Use Your Toolbelt: Are you interested in coaching an improv group but don't think you're quite there yet? I doubt that's true! This Workshop will show current improvisers that they already have a well-stocked toolbelt, and there's no reason they shouldn't start using it to guide others. You'll learn how to structure a 2-hr rehearsal and tap into where you align with improv to take care of the rest. Notebooks (or paper) & pens are encouraged!

Prerequisite: Students must have some level of prior improv experience to partake in this Workshop.

About your instructor: Daniel Karambelas first discovered improv while taking classes at ImprovBoston beginning in 2014. In 2016, he moved to Chicago to further his studies, completing the programs at Second City, iO, and the Annoyance training centers. After spending some years onstage in Chicago, Daniel is back home, performing and teaching in New England. Daniel draws from the different approaches and philosophies he has learned throughout his improv career, and incorporates them as both a performer and instructor. He is currently teaching improv with the Maine Improv Studio and can be seen performing about New England.
