Clowning 1: The Ecstasy of Red Nose Clown

Sunday, Sep 14, 2025 @ 2:00 PM EDT • $329.00 (includes fees)

Description
SOLD OUT! JOIN THE WAITLIST HERE. In this beginner class, each student will become acquainted with their own unique comedic spark.  Through group games, embodied exploration, and physical play, each student will discover their inherent comedy, with an emphasis on contact, presence, breath, and listening through a physical form. Students will come away from the class with increased confidence as performers, a greater capacity to sense what is funny to an audience, and a honed internal gauge of what brings them pleasure on stage.

Students will also come away from class with heightened abilities to “find the game,” lean into the truth of a scenario, build and maintain rapport with an audience, breathe while discovering, and pivot gracefully towards the fun.  Each student also walks away with a unique, individualized, identifiable clown form and a red nose to keep.
