CLOWNING 1.0
Tuesdays 7:00pm - 9:00pm
January 7 - February 25
Clowning 1.0 is for performers looking to improve their sensitivity, humanity, stupidity, and creativity on stage. It will challenge you to step into the unknown to see what new beauty or hilarity you can discover onstage.
Designed for amateurs and professionals alike, the class begins with theatrical games (formally known as “Le Jeu”) through which we will explore failure, pleasure, and play. After building this foundation, we will focus on flop-saving, number-building, costumes, and show creation.
This is a great class to refresh those fundamental skills for those who have taken clowning before.
Disclaimer:
This workshop does not include face makeup and will challenge conventional expectations of clowning.
